Hello, sorry for my English school. My name is Leonardo and I'm testing this fantastic script. I wanted to know if it is possible for each user to create a level 1 system of value points to climb any fraction of an hour booked. Here's an example: User Alice has a total value of 50 points, book a room for 2 hours and are scaled automatically No. 4 value points. Obviously when the user Alice, points out the values, it can not make reservations. Contact the admin which in turn returns the values 50 points.
I ask if it was possible to do these changes on the donation.
Regards Leonardo.

There are already features in MRBS whereby you can limit

    • the number of bookings made per day/week/month/year/anytime in the future on both a per-area basis and globally
    • the maximum duration of a booking

I don't know whether these would give you what you want?

Dear Campbell, Thanks for the reply,
What you suggest me, it only works on the rooms.
But I would need that the mechanism would work for a particular group of users. For example, Users Level 1 I "Administrator" I can set a "x" number of reservations per week, day, month, year. You think it's possible a change like that?

      regards Leonardo

You can add a policy such as this by writing your own code in mrbsCheckPolicy() in mrbs_sql.inc.

But I don't think I've understood your request properly. There are only two groups of users: ordinary users (Level 1) and admin users (Level 2). Admin users can book anything. If you put a restriction on the group of Level 1 users you are saying that you only want a total of x number of reservations to be made per day? Is that right? Is there some reason the room cannot be used to 100% capacity?

When you say the feature only works on the rooms, that's not quite right. The existing policy applies per user, not per room.

The script I use to book tennis club that has 4 types of users. So every user has the "X" reservations every month. over the credit must pay the club to purchase other "X" reservations.
That's the reason why I would like to add additional users with other types of permits.

If you're using the 'db' authentication scheme then you add a custom field to the users table called group (and you could use the $select_options config variable to define the options). Then you could add a policy as described above.

I just can not make these changes. I'm so sorry because it is a beautiful script and it was in my case. You can do something like this?

Are you using the 'db' authentication scheme?
