#103 Template Wrapper for MRBS

When wrapping MRBS in a site template it is relatively easy to insert the template header in print_header. However most templates come with a footer and, in three column layouts, a right column after the main content. The problem is MRBS has multiple exit points, particularly in edit_users.php and showAccessDenied(), where the HTML page is terminated with explicit </body></html> tags. It would be nice if all exit points used trailer.inc and then any template footers and/or right column could be added to trailer.inc.

MRBS doesn't seem compatible with templating systems. It has it's own templating system, which is duplicating professional templating systems that are now fully mature. MRBS should just create the HTML for the calendar, and make that accessible via a function. This could then be used by a third-party templating system.

MRBS feels a bit hacky the way it outputs HTML. No separation of business logic and view, meaning it's very hard to put MRBS in to a third party templating system (at least in my experience).

Yes, agreed. We're gradually trying to make MRBS less hacky and separating out the presentation from the logic is one of the things that needs to be done.
