Hi there,

I have following problem: If I create a report (without the Summary), the Reports will be putted out, but then IE hangs / is extremly slow, scrolling takes about 5sec, etc.
I realized, that this is a AJAX Problem. If I disable Javascript, everything runs fine, but i can't show or hide the columns.
But if I create a Report WITH Summary, everythings will be displayed fine.

Enviornment is a local Network WITHOUT Internet access, tested with multiple browsers.

Any ideas?

Thanks and best regards

Mathias

Are you running 1.4.8? If so, this is probably caused by a known problem that is fixed in 1.4.9. If you don't want to upgrade to 1.4.9 just yet then you can easily get round the problem by setting

    $zoneinfo_expiry = PHP_INT_MAX;

Hi Campbell, many thanks for your answer! I'm running 1.4.8 and can't upgrade, too many changes ;)
I forgot to write, that i've allready found this "solution" in the forum and tried it, but without success! You have any other idea?

      Thanks and best regards

What version of IE are you running? Do you see the problem with other browsers? Can you turn on your JavaScript console in your browser and see if you are getting any error messages in there.

      Hi Campbell,

We are running IE 6, 8 and 9. There is a message, but this appears also on other sites. I've added it to the attachments.

      Thanks for your help!

Hm, is it possible, that i can't add an attachment as guest?
      The following error messages appears:
HTML1202: Site is displayed in Compatiblity mode, because of a setting that enables compatiblity mode for intranet sites
SEC7115: Formats :visited and :link only differs in color. Some formats couldn't be applied on :visited

Can you try installing a vanilla 1.4.9 in a different web directory (but in the same environment) and running against a test set of tables on the same SQL server and see if you still get the problem?

    Thanks,

    Campbell
