Serial Port

• onboard serial port present
• "UART1"
• the pin numbering on the board goes from 1 to 10, but it's printed wrong

true numbering goes like this:

 1 2 3 4 5

 - 6 7 8 9

instead of

2 4 6 8 10
1 3 5 7 9

• 3.3V TTL
• device behaves like a DTE (sending on pin 3, corrected pin numbering)
