#13 Multiple Add buttons can be confusing

When dealing with response processing in the wizard,
the presence of identically labelled Add buttons for
variables and response conditions can be confusing -
especially as initially no response conditions are
selected and hence only the variables' Add button is
active.

In a broader context, I wonder whether the placement
of the variables is appropriate? It gives a huge and
perhaps overrated emphasis to the variables within the
wizard interface. Would a toolbox-style interface be
more appropriate, that could be docked, moved, hidden
and so on? Even if not, it may be appropriate to
group the list of variables and their associated
buttons visually in order to emphasise their
relationship more than at present.
