MPy3 -- witty, isn't it? Ok, so maybe it isn't. Anyway, this MPy3 project is an MP3 management/player tool designed for mobile audio/standalone audio systems. It uses an serial LCD as an output, though an X interface is planned later on.

Many props must go to Paul Bournival, the creator of <a href="http://cajun.sourceforge.net/">CAJUN</A>, the Car Audio Jukebox Using uNix. MPy3 was started as a re-write of CAJUN (3.0) in Python, frankly because I didn't know Perl, and the learning curve for Python is much lower. I wanted to make a system that is easily extendible, and easily hackable, even for the armchair hacker out their.

Anyway, I'll be getting the source up in the CVS as soon as possible, and an Alpha release out soon.
