Not a high priority, but it would be nice to have a 'shuffle' option. Two ideas for how it could perform this:
* 'shuffle playlist' button next to 'repeat plalist' in the playlist dialog box, which reorders the playlist into a pseudorandom order, and the player plays through it in usual order*
* 'random' toggle, either in the Player Control section of the interface or as above in the playlist dialog box (the latter would seem more consistent with existing UX) which
* chooses a random number from n=number of items in playlist, plays corresponding file, or
* offsets the next song playing by a pseudorandom number (only works if repeat playlist is also enabled)
Thanks for the program. I work in an environment with enterprise-level security policies restricting execution of un-whitelisted applications, but JRE is already installed so this JAR allows me to play music without a third party application which would be blocked by security policies.
whoops, posted thi on the entirely wrong project :/ disregard entirely
