In version 4.4 when opening 2013 files all tasks have the milestone value set on true and the schedule mode set on "Manual schedule".

It seems that the problem also appears on 2010 files. Please see the attached file. All tasks are manual scheduled when some of them should be automatically scheduled. Also all tasks are milestones when they have a not zero duration.

The patch from issue https://sourceforge.net/p/mpxj/bugs/224/ indeed solves the milestone problem. But it still remains the task mode problem.
