Hi everybody, I really need a help with this problem!
I’m running CentOS with its 2.6.18.128 kernel.
Did anybody tried to get xen-kernels from the available sources? I need
xen-kernel with MPLS.
Because of the similarity with my kernel I found reasonable to unpack
2.6.20-1 MPLS kernel, to configure it for XEN and to compile it. At the end
of the process, I got normal kernel and didn’t get xen-kernel. I tried to
use make-rpm-jleu.exe file to make all those rpms. I got kernel-xen*.rpms,
but after I had installed them, and rebooted machine, I had two screens
where I was able to see that xen kernel was trying to boot, and after that,
white screen and blocked machine!
If I try to unpack some higher version of MPLS kernel, like 2.6.26.6, I’m
getting normal kernel as well...
Can anybody give me any idea what I’m doing wrong??
