Did you select mpls options to be compiled inside the kernel or as modules
???? Maybe you need to do a insmod ???
Anyway did you use make modules ; make modules_install ??? at leats that what
i need to do on my debian to get the modules working.
You can take a look too at /lib/modules/2.4.9/ if you find there anu mpls
modules you should do an insmod to get the things run
