Thanks James, This has fixed all my problems. I was trying to set up LSP's dynamically, as well as get LSP stats back from a test network we have here. With the debug running, the speed of the routers (at least interrogating via mpls commands) was VERY slow. We also set up the routers with a series of preconfigured LSP's, and turn them on and off depending on measured loads. It was by chance that I peered into /var/log/messages and saw the debug. The setup went from 15 mins to 13 secs by switching off debug. The load measuring commands went way down also. Everything is sweet now. ..mcf James R.
