I have not had contact with Pim for quite sometime now. So I'm not sure of the fate of his project. The rsvpte directory in ldp-portable is/was my attempt to start a RSVP-TE implementation, it never even got to the point of encoding/decoding packets. There is a group working on a RSVP-TE implementation from the ground up for use with mpls-linux/quagga. At this time they are pretty early on but showing promise. I will let them determine when they are ready for the rest of the list to contribute to thier project. So at this time we're still without a working dynamic label distribution protocol (LDP from ldp-portable still has many bugs to be worked out).
