Are you using the kernel RPM I created?
If so did you read the release notes?

If you are using one of my provided kernel RPMs, you must issue a
'modprobe mpls4' before attempting any 'mpls' commands.  This is because
MPLS is compiled as a module and must be loaded!!!!
