i'm very sorry i would like to use MPLS for Linux i work with Suse9.3 i download MPLS-linux and linux-kernel2.6.9. i patch the kernel and i configure the new kernel with make menuconfig. after that i do : 1. make bzImage 2. make modules 3. make modules_install i fond two new file bzImage and System.map i copy him to /boot and rename him how can i do to make initrd-2.6.9MPLS-default ? and i have some problem with the grub. title Linux-2.6.9MPLS-default kernel (hd0,1)/boot/vmlinuz-2.6.9MPLS-default root=3D/dev/hda2 selinux=3D0 splash=3Dsilent resume=3D/dev/hda1 showopts initrd (hd0,1)/boot/initrd-2.6.9MPLS-default ###Don't change this comment - YaST2 identifier: Original name: linux### title SUSE LINUX 9.3 kernel (hd0,1)/boot/vmlinuz-2.6.11.4-20a-default root=3D/dev/hda2 vga=3D0x3= 1a selinux=3D0 splash=3Dsilent resume=3D/dev/hda1 showopts initrd (hd0,1)/boot/initrd-2.6.11.4-20a-default when i reboot the message is kernel panic. thanks for all |
