Hello! My name is Rosca Florin and I'm doing my final project in MPLS networks as I'm in my final year at Computer Science and Automatics. I have some problems with installing and working with quagga-mpls and I need your help, please! I'm newbie in Linux , so please be patients! I'm using Fedora Core 3. I've configured Linux kernel 2.6.9 mpls-enabled and installed from the http://sourceforge.net/projects/mpls-linux the folowing programs: 1. mpls-linux-1.946a.tar.bz2 2. iptables-1.2.11-3.1.FC3mpls1_946.i386.rpm 3. iproute-2.6.9-3mpls1_946.i386.rpm 4. ppp-2.4.2-6.4.FC3mpls1_946.i386.rpm 5. quagga-0.97.3-1.FC3mpls1_946b.i386.rpm Questions: 1.If I have a mpls enabled kernel do I still need to install kernel-2.6.9-1.6_FC2mpls_1_946a.i686.rpm 2.If I installed quagga-0.97.3-1.FC3mpls1_946b.i386.rpm, do I need ldp-portable? I did the folowing:I got the sources of quagga-0.97.3-1.FC3, patched them with quagga-0.97.3-mpls.patch, I changed the path to point to my ldp-potable distribution. Then I compiled them-no error- but after "make" I got some errors like unreferenced variable...etc. How do I get it working? 3. After installing quagga-0.97.3-1.FC3mpls1_946b.i386.rpm, when I type " ldpd -d" with the default configuration file, it says "unknown command" " mlps ip " To connect to the ldpd daemon via telnet what port do I use, or how do I do it to use the command line in ldp? Thanks a lot! Florin __________________________________ Yahoo! Messenger Show us what our next emoticon should look like. Join the fun. http://www.advision.webevents.yahoo.com/emoticontest |
