[mpls-linux-general] help

hi
im new to this field and i  want to install the mpls-linux patch from source 
forge.net do i need any more software other than ldp portable and MPLS-linux 
to achieve MPLS capabilities of the linux box....and also if u can provide me 
any link where i can get the process of instaling the MPLS_LINUX patch&ldp 
portable downloaded from sourceforge it would be of grrt help
