The FIB is located in the kernel source linux/net/ipv4/fib_*
In LDP portable look at ldp-portable/lib/ldp_attr.[ch]

At the operator of the router/switch it is your responsibility to categorize
all of the traffic going through your router/switch.  Most of the time
you do this by knowing where it will exit your network and then you create
TE-LSPs to those exist points.
