[mpls-linux-general] X-Windows doesn't work after mpls-linux installed

Hi buddies:

I found the x-windows system doesn't work after I installed mpls-linux-0.993
on my redhat linux box. When I try to start x-windows by running 'startx',
it will freeze there and I have to power off the computer.

Has anybody experienced the same problem? I am quite sure the installation
of mpls-linux-0.993 is the only thing I did before the x-windows went wrong,
although I don't understand yet how these two can interference with each other.
