[mpls-linux-general] ldp-portable Problems with compilation

hi,

We have installed the mpls-linux patch on which we are installing the
ldp-portable-.060 core libraries. We are having some problems. The port
directory make file already has the -DMPLS-LINUX option in it. So when
we give make from the root ldp-portable directory it gives segmentation
fault at=20

$(CC) -o $@ port/ldp_linux.o lib/libldp.a port/libldpport.a lib/libldp.a

We are working with Linux-7.0 and on an acer 4100 machine.

What we did was :

Installed the patch and recompiled the kernel and started with the new
kernel.
put ldp-portable-.060.tar.gz in /usr/src
Unzipped it there to form anothe dir ldp-portable
cd ldp-portable and then we compiled=20
make=20

Any help in this regard would be useful.
