I'm messing around with a couple Ciscos (running 12.2 mainline), a Juniper (running 4.4) and a Linux box. While I haven't got the Linux box patched yet, I do have the Ciscos talking TDP, but I can't get the Juniper to talk to the Ciscos via LDP. After looking hard, Cisco still isn't supporting the RFC based LDP, they are using their Tag Dist Protocol. Nice. Maybe this is an old subject, but will Linux LDP work with Ciscos? Will it work with Juniper? I guess I can find out the hard way... Thanks! Dave Cisco Junip Linux Cisco Y N ? Junip N Y M Linux ? M Y Y = yes, confirmed N = no, confirmed M = maybe, based on the fact they both use RFC 3036 ? = don't know...anyone? |
