You can always access my development tree via 'perforce' (a revision
control system), see the 'Access to my development repository' section
of http://mpls-linux.sf.net for more info.

Since you are new to linux, you will probably want to avoid building
your own kernels though.  Maybe you should look at using netkit, which
allows you to build a virtual network using UML guests.

Otherwise, your best bet is to wait until I finish build F9 and F10 RPMs.
