Hello Deni, Please reply also to the mailing list. First of all: have you downloaded mgen from the link? Did you unpack it in a directory? To execute it, you must type something like this in the command line: */path/to/MGEN/mgen -input path/to/MGEN/example_file.mgn *You don't install mgen, you just unpack the executable somewhere. It should run fine on Fedora Core. When you run the command, make sure you include the whole path to it, because it's not in you $PATH. Also, look for the example file included with mgen to see what kinds of traffic it supports. I know that with mgen you can set multiple sources, idle times, bursts, but I don't know what alpha is... Check mgen documentation and try it on without mpls first and see if it's what you need.
