[mpls-linux-general] mpls 1.946 vs 1.959

Hello,
I've installed f8+MPLS repos on my pc, but I have to build a testbed using very old-fashioned PCs that do not run f8.
I've downloaded knoppix-mpls, and my old PCs do run this, but the MPLS version on knoppix liveCD is 1.946 while the one on my laptop is 1.959.
(Notice that newer PCs do not run knoppix-MPLS!!!!!)
Are there any problems about doing a mixed 1.946/1.959 testbed?
What differences are there between the 2 versions?
