A quick search of the archives will show that the version of LDP in the current quagga-mpls release is not designed for users (it was a development release). If you are interested in work with LDP and are willing to help in the debugging process, please download the lastest quagga-mpls from my development tree (see http://mpls-linux.sf.net for more info) Make sure to search the archive before posting to the mailing list.
