[Mpls-agent-general] no answer from the agent

Hi,

We want to use the snmp agent for monitoring issues at the university.
But till now we weren't able to receive any data from the agent.

The test system consists of openSUSE machines with an mpls patched 
kernel (http://sourceforge.net/projects/mpls-linux). Both the kernel and
the agent start without any errors. All messages are speaking for perfect
working. (We tested the agent with and without agentX protocoll.)

An snmwalk directly to the agent:
        "snmpwalk -v 2c -c [community] [ip] 1.3.6.1.3.96"
or
        "snmpwalk -v 2c -c [community] [ip] 1"
gives only
        "Timeout: No Response from [ip]"

But nevertheless the agent prints "Connection from UDP: [ip]:port" to
the screen when snmpwalk is done. So the request was received from
the agent but the snmp client never gets an answer for its request.

Maybe anybody here can help?
