Sorry for this bug report summary , but i couldnt find
another one ;-)
First of all thanks very much Nick for this great
software.
It's 10 times better than mplayer.
If you'll eliminate the bugs there will be no competitor
for it.
Sorry if my bugreport sounds too lame or if these are
already known issues
So let's get started:
1) Rendering via SDL is broken.
it decereases the height of the movie and in the
upper
part the image is scrambled.
2) Rendering via vesa is broken.(compared to mplayer)
it remembers me of the times when i wass seeing
pictures with seejpeg using svgalib.
Here vertical lines are visible , like when i try with
svgalib some strange modes.
3) The subtitling is broken.
It works only when i type :
mplayerxp -sub file.sub file.avi for ex
When any other renderer (dga for ex) is used
subtitling no longer appears (time shows up though)
Also when i try to move to another position using
mplayerxp -ss time or with PGDN/PGUp the subtitling
no longer appears.
4) Some codecs simply refuse to work.
If you want i cand send some of the movies .
Are very small(xxx) :-)
5) The playing performance varies drastically
function of used renderer
Now the good part:
DGA works like a charm.
It's the best choice right now.
It would be cool if you add support for gl2 and
add in configure --with-win32libdir.
Thanks and keep it goin'...

Fortunatedly mplayerxp has working screenshot facility with
every
plugin. Please try make screenshots (through pressing 'S')!

It would be enough to publish their names ;)

Could you please describe this in details?

VIDIX is the best choise forever ;)

Should be there - I didn't touch that
(Simply it was moved into 'loader' configure but use still
can specify this parameter in main configure script ;)
