I've been somewhat perpexed at the difficulty I've been having with mplayerplug-in and it's ability
to process streaming audio from one specific site. I've attempt to "debug" this problem myself however,
I'm at my witts end.
I have included the following two files returned from the streaming provider:
wget http://www.warpradio.com/popTuner.asp?id=14108 returns the following file
<asx version = "3.0">
<param name= "Encoding" value="iso-8859-1"/>
<ref href = "mms://126.96.36.199/replayradio/replayradio04.wma"/>
<Copyright>2003 Replay Radio</Copyright>
<ref href = "mms://188.8.131.52/TropicWaveRadio-IN"/>
<ref href = "http://184.108.40.206/TropicWaveRadio-IN"/>
<Copyright>2003 Tropic Wave Radio</Copyright>
wget http://220.127.116.11/TropicWaveRadio-IN/ returns the following information:
Whenever I click the FIRST LINK I see activity on my "dial-up" line
for the buffer to fill, I hear the first URL specified in the first <entry> definition which is an advertisement
for "replayradio" however, it never rolls over to the second entry in that initial file.
Is this a problem with mplayerplug-in or with the manner in which the content provide has designed their
metafiles? I am currently using version 1.2 of mplayerplug-in with mozilla 1.6.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
