[Mplayer-matrox] Compiling mga_vid in-kernel

Is there an (easy) way to compile mga_vid to a kernel without module support? The reasons for this -
which are not relevant, but someone would naturally ask - are mainly cosmetical.

Would this cause problems when updating mplayer to a newer version?
