I tried to encode from an image sequence using the following command line:
mencoder mf://xxxx????.png -mf fps=20:w=400:h=300:type=png -o test.avi -nosound -ovc x264 -x264encopts bitrate=200:threads=2
Mencoder crashed immediately. Stdout is as follows:

Next I changed -ovc to xvid and it crashed again. I tried to encode from jpg/bmp but the problem remains. I also tried using previous builds and official 1.0rc2 build, but unfortunately they gave me the same results.
