#128 MEncoder's bug during DVDRip

MEncoder (43)

Very sad that the new builds MEncoder (after 32,848) have a serious bug. Somehow, when encoding DVD MEncoder starts for no reason to duplicate video frames (tested on several PAL DVD). As a result, after a while there comes a buffer overflow, and the appearance of such messages - almost always means that there will be out of sync video and audio, and, accordingly, is the case. Very sad, because in the new builds update XviD, and 32848 is still 1.2.1. But the problem is not XviD, namely in MEncoder. Of course, it can be solved by using the-mc 0-noskip, but completely off the automatic synchronization of video and audio developers do not recommend that, as far as I know. Excerpt from the log coding:
1 duplicate frame(s)!
Pos: 106.4s 2422f ( 2%) 41.56fps Trem: 47min 296mb A-V:-0.084 [273:192]

1 duplicate frame(s)!
Pos: 106.9s 2432f ( 2%) 41.50fps Trem: 47min 295mb A-V:-0.084 [274:192]

1 duplicate frame(s)!
Pos: 107.0s 2435f ( 2%) 41.46fps Trem: 47min 296mb A-V:-0.056 [275:192]

Too many video packets in the buffer: (4096 in 8271657 bytes).
Maybe you are playing a non-interleaved stream/file or the codec failed?
For AVI files, try to force non-interleaved mode with the -ni option.
Pos: 107.3s 2442f ( 2%) 41.42fps Trem: 47min 295mb A-V:-0.084 [276:192]

But the source DVD, that is, MPEG-2, but not AVI, so the option -ni there can not be applied.

This bug appears when you copy the AC-3 stream without transcoding. Unpleasant, of course.
