#1 mplay unable to mute/unmute volume control

hi,

i have an audigy sb (using alsa) and when i enter
mplay's mixer mode it displays treble/bass controls no
matter whether tone control is on/off. i think mplay
should detect whether the tone control is en(dis)abled
and eventually offer an option to toggle it.
