Hi!

I have rebuild the rpm and update it, as stated on the
web page. But when i try to load the module with
$modprobe mpio, I got:

/lib/modules/2.4.20-19.8/kernel/drivers/usb/mpio.o: The
module you are trying to load
(/lib/modules/2.4.20-19.8/kernel/drivers/usb/mpio.o) is
compiled with a gcc
version 2 compiler, while the kernel you are running is
compiled with
a gcc version 3 compiler. This is known to not work.
/lib/modules/2.4.20-19.8/kernel/drivers/usb/mpio.o:
insmod
/lib/modules/2.4.20-19.8/kernel/drivers/usb/mpio.o failed
/lib/modules/2.4.20-19.8/kernel/drivers/usb/mpio.o:
insmod mpio failed

What should I do? is there any option i can include in
the rpmrebuild command, so that the gcc v3 is used?

Thanks

Luc
