Some of the messages from this server:

news.povray.org

Specifically some of those from Jaap in the "df3
creation revisited ..." thread of the
"povray.binaries.images" group do not display. Some of
them from the same person do correctly display, but the
number of failures of probably close to 80% on messages
like this. Here is part of the header from one of them:

Mime-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: multipart/mixed;
boundary="------boundary00xxzz99pov77ccvv44"
X-Source:
+PgiDggQIf38HiL+BjQs/jUM6i0FCe7zDSUQLggNLS8yDAcOlbFkwoDamZ/bla6ko8ehi66UjO6A6ZqVsZWqpMfAsaDdv37Z
X-Newsreader: POV-Ray Web Interface
X-User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US;
rv:1.8.0.3) Gecko/20060426 Firefox/1.5.0.3

Not sure if this is something wrong in the Web
Interface or Gravity, but the old pre-OSS version I
never saw this happen in, though it definitely had
other annoyances.

Oh, and could someone "please" figure out why in some
cases, like switching to another window, then back, the
space bar starts going through "all" messages, instead
of just the unread ones. This glitch has driven me nuts
for years, in "every" version I ever used and its
behaviour is so inconsistent that half the time you
can't even get it to happen when you want to.

    In Feb 2009 all very old bug reports that did not have a follow up stating they could be reproduced on the current version (2.7.1) were closed.

    This is simply because the original developers (thank you guys) have moved on, a new developer has picked Gravity up and we need to start with a clean sheet.

    These old bug reports are still all available, and if you wish to help us, please try to replicate this bug using a current build. If you manage to replicate it, add a comment and the bug will be re-opened.

    Well, good luck on fixing this thing. I got tired of waiting, and dealing with the glitches, and moved on to Thunderbird. Sorry...

    Go to VIEW GLOBAL OPTIONS NAVIGATION
    See "After Single Key Read Threaded/Sorted"
    Change those to "View Next Unread Article"

    If you can't get it to work, it might be a bug, but it works fine for me and has for years. So before we decide its a bug lets see if that helps. Also we have forums now at

    https://apps.sourceforge.net/phpbb/mpgravity/

    Don't know about the multipart/mixed thing
