On Windows when I type:

mpg123 -C Infected\ Mushroom\ -\ \ Heavyweight.mp3

I get:

mpg123.exe: Unknown option "C".

mpg123 --version
mpg123 1.13.1

same thing with

mpg123 --control Infected\ Mushroom\ -\ \ Heavyweight.mp3
mpg123.exe: Unknown option "control".

The control interface isn't implemented for Win32. See the recently added --fifo implementation instead, it can be found in the mpg123 svn trunk.

This would be a wishlist item ... I disabled printing of -C in --help for 1.17, to prevent the surprise.
