When I play low-bandwidth streams (PLS file from bug
1009608), the frequency is messed up. It sounds like
it is playing at 2x normal speed. Local Oggs sound fine.
I tried the last entry from that play list (linuxquestions)
and it seemed to sound well (with both OSS and LASA) (I think XMMS sounded the same)
My distro is Gentoo, so may be there is some distribution issue there, though it is very strange

What about 1.3.5?

Same problem with 1.3.5. Also 1.3.3. It may be something
to do with Mandrake 10.1 or OSS so I am going to try it on
other distros.

I tried 1.3.5 on Slackware 10. No problems at all.
Definately something to do with the Mandrake 10.1 environment.
