For the front end tech I'm quite happy to pick up and use anything. However I would put forward a suggestion that we do a straw pole of the group and we see where our strengths / desires are collectivity? Personally I would say Coldfusion and PHP are the languages I'm currently strongest with, and as already stated I don't really have a preference what we use.
