Hi Tim,

As Chris mentioned, we have a new version of the software coming out 
soon.  One of the improvements in this new version is that it 
automatically creates a configuration entry in the config file when it 
hears from a new elf.  This is the way that it was always intended to 
work, it has just taken a while for that feature to get crossed off the 
to do list.
