a1-pre2 coming soon

Hello again! Well, there've been quite a few fairly serious bugs found in a1-pre1, and some stuff that really just didn't work. A lot of it's been fixed, and a few things have been added, but I want to wait until file saving is written and tested before releasing pre2. The good news is that this should happen within a few days, so stay tuned for the next pre-alpha release!

2.0-a1-pre1 released!

As promised, the first public pre-alpha release is here. Read the documentation (mp3center.pdf or .ps) for information on what should work and what shouldn't. Keep in mind, folks, that this is a pre-ALPHA, which means the program isn't even close to being finished yet! Things that look like they should work may not, and there are almost certainly bugs abounding. But if you're the experimental type, eat your heart out -- and remember, feedback makes open source coders Happy Coders. :-) Enjoy.

v2.0 first pre-alpha release soon

Version 2, the long-awaited (since 1998! wow!) update to MP3Center is almost here. The program is functional, but I want to get a few more things done before the first official "pre-alpha" release. (The pre-alpha releases will not be completely functional, but they will be usable in some sense, and will give the testers something to chew on while I finish the rest of the code.) I expect this release to happen within the next 2 or 3 days. Stay tuned.
