Alain Daurat (alain.daurat@libertysurf.fr) reported the inability to parse an mpeg 1 mono file. This was caused by the sideinfo parsing being off by 1 bit. Released new tarball with fix. Thanks Alain!
Usable command line and usable output.
Works with pipes...
Serious speed up and memory usage reduction...
And much more...
stumbled over a CRCed (!!!) mp3. dirtily hacked up quick support for it... plus some other changes... read the changelog :p
New site is up, this one should be usable on more browsers :p
But i still dont hold with win users accessing the page!
The site is up and I *heart* the way it looks. I cursed alot at the daft standard that html is... But im very pleased with the result.
It's just sooo beautiful on a netscape. Unfortunately my mozilla refuses to run (and im too lame to figure it out), but I'm certain mozilla won't be a problem...
But...
IE apparently uses fonts twice as big as the one netscape uses. Now, sites must be goodlooking thus composition is everything. So if IE is unable to do much with it... well... Stuff it!... read more
I hereby thank xemacs for warning me about not being able to write to the files. MDK (which i wouldve shot 50k times by now if i had firearms at my disposition) makes the first user 501, and dusnt cooperate with the old nis version 1, which knows death as 500. So... I mustve missed the warning when implementing a whole errortracking system... and thus i effectively lost 2-300lines of decent code and defines. I really should learn how to work with cvs.
I dumped my old suse, for a mandrake, with which i didnt get along at all, so now its LFS (www.linuxfromscratch.com) and devel on mp3asm will continue when im back on my feet :))
The site is very crude and whiny, but the source is online and usable. Pfff... seemed like forever to figure this out, guess im growing old.
dl now, and edit those bad mp3s!
