Mozart Development Environment / News: Recent posts

The Mozart Development Environment is a framework for user-extensible compilers and development tools, including a Java-to-Java extensible compiler, ideal for Java code refactoring. Also includes the new LX programming language.

The Mozart environment release 1.0 has been submitted, including the Moka Java-to-Java extensible compiler. These components are very usable in their current form.

There is a separate "experimental" branch (currently at release 0.1LX) for the LX compiler.

This is a still incomplete implementation of LX. But it's arguably already more powerful than C. Unfortunately, it still lacks a standard library.
