[Motion-user] many pictures for one event

Good evening,

the motion-process should write jpg-files if any event is tracked.

But the process writes every second one pic.

Is there any possibility to get only one pic every 2 seconds - or 3 
seconds ?

Which is here the right customizing in the motion.conf ?
