Is there a panning option?

I'd sorta like to pan and pause at regular intervals
or maybe random intervals and have it track motion if
it detects motion when its pausing in its panning
motion. and then when it stops detecting motion to
start panning again.

Like a jerky like panning motion go a few degrees
pause pan some more pause.
