Hi, I have installed Motion on Raspi using this link http://www.instructables.com/id/Raspberry-Pi-as-low-cost-HD-surveillance-camera/?ALLSTEPS I have got it working, but the video it produces is very jumpy to say the least. Looking at the clock bottom right it takes a frame every two or three seconds. I originally had the framerate set to 2 frames per second, I have tried it at 5 and 15 but it doesn't seem to make any difference at all. I was copying the files to a network drive, across the wi-fi network, and thought that this may cause the problem, so I changes it to save to the SD card, still no change. I have tried recording a video with the standard Pi command "raspivid -o video.h264" and that works fine Any ideas what could cause this, or what I can do to fault find further? Thanks Mick |
