[Motion-user] Installing from source on Ubuntu 12.04: what h264-related package to include?

Hello all, 

I am into the process of installing Motion from source on Ubuntu 12.04, mainly because the prepackaged version doesn't have MySQL support. 

As I intend to use h264 encoding because it gives so small files, what library should I install prior to building? This doesn't seem to be very well explained in the wiki :(
