Jeff, 'gapless' is referring to the 'event_gap' option. Motion is about events. An event starts when there is motion. It ends 'event_gap' seconds after there is no more motion. That can also lead to videos, that have gaps - like motion, no motion, motion in one video. If you set event_gap to '0', an event will never end and a lot of things will not work anymore. The new gapless event mode just ends an event when there is no more motion or after post_capture frames if any. This way you won't see any gaps (leaps) in a video clip. Hard to describe this. I'm also confused by the wording used to describe this feature, could it be clarified? Googling for 'gapless video' returns a result [0], but I'm not sure if what he meant by gapless video is what motion means by gapless video. The description from the result is: What do I mean? A playlist with several video clips that playback without the annoying 1/2 seconds black gap (time varies). I know, I can merge the videos. But for this project (advertising presentation) I must have the playlist (video clip order changes often) which plays clip by clip.
