1 -. mjpeg = Motion jpeg  codec
2-.  mjpeg = jpeg multipart stream

Motion only support second option not decode for Motion Jpeg codec.

So please get latest stable version of motion and run in debug mode :

./motion -n -d 9   2>&1 2> debug.log
