I pulled the latest motion with SVN and made some progress... but it doesn't like the newer version of ffmpeg I have installed.

Now I need to figure out what is necessary to get ffmpeg 0.4.8 installed.

Hello all,

I'm trying to compile motion on OS X 10.4 Intel. There appears to be an issue with linking (see below). I've tried with the latest ffmpeg from svn as well as 0.4.8.

The make command using the latest ffmpeg snapshot yields the following:

./configure --with-ffmpeg=/usr/local/lib  --with-mysql-lib=/usr/local/mysql/lib

gcc -L/sw/lib  -L/usr/local/lib -o motion motion.o conf.o draw.o video_freebsd.o netcam.o netcam_ftp.o netcam_jpeg.o netcam_wget.o track.o alg.o event.o picture.o rotate.o webhttpd.o webcam.o mjpeg.o ffmpeg.o -lm -L/sw/lib -lpthread -ljpeg -L/usr/local/lib -lavformat -lavcodec -lm -lz -L/usr/local/mysql/lib -lmysqlclient -lz

Any thoughts?
