I don't know if this is important, but it is a little unusual. It appears that the source was not "make clean" before the archive was created. This makes it so when you build it, it appears to be already built.

I am currently preparing an Ubuntu package for adms. I also foudn this issue and think it should be fixed. Any work on this?
