If you ever seen an web wiki in action you will know
what I'm after. It's the simple URL:s of a wiki that
can be cross linked throughout the site without even
necessary to sort them into different cathegories
and/or hirarchies.
Now I'm not suggesting that the hirarchies of the web
site navigation in the presentation needs to go away,
but rather that while those still remain as a part of
the presentation layout (maybe as an
optional/configural component), it be separated from
the long and teadious URL:s that ar on the brink to be
non-human radable, to a shorter form, not totally
different, BUT more human readable. The idea is that
the URL too should be easy to both read and write
manually, as well as bookmark.
Example:
http://www.mymozxmlsite.com/?News
of course when for example wanting to see the page in a
certain language, and you don't have the correct
automatic settings for that language you might add that
in specific. Example:
http://www.mymozxmlsite.com/?News&lang=se
so whats the difference from the way it is now? The
machine inputs in the URL that does not make sense to
the common user. In the above example, the user
shouldn't have to use the lang attribute to get the
default or his/her set language preference.
