[Morphix-devel] livecd cannot stat /etc/X11/X

Hi all,

I am new to morphing Morphix, and am trying to get accustomed to the
build environment.  I tried to build the Live CD using the simple
directions listed here:
http://www.morphix.org/doc/how_tos/docbook_html/ar01s04.html
However, several minutes through I receive the error message "cannot
stat /etc/X11/X (No such file or directory), aborting".  The system
then shuts down, reboots, and eventually gets to the same place.  This
occurs regardless of whether I choose the default boot option or the
testcd.

Does anyone have suggestions of how to fix this problem and proceed?

Did you try building from a Morphing-Morphix ?

You need a basemod template and a mainmod template. From the look of
the errors, it appears there is no mainmodule template.  Have a look

Morphingmorphix (Though in need of some TLC and updating), is the
meant to by the easy tutorial.
